How would you like to find out that this was how you got your copy of Hold Still?
Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020 started when the Duchess of Cambridge paired up with her patronage, The National Portrait Gallery and asked people to submit photos of their lives during the first UK Lockdown. It first took shape as a virtual exhibition. Earlier this year it was announced that the photos had all been compiled into a coffee table book.
Now, to celebrate the release day of the book Catherine joined in on a collaboration with The Book Fairies to hide copies of the book around London.
Catherine and her team shared a video that showed her placing the book in front of the Queen Victoria Statue inside the grounds of Kensington Palace for a lucky visitor to find later.
