What I’m Doing
2022 is a year that brings with it many changes but also many reasons for Royal Watchers and Supporters of the British Royal Family to celebrate. On 6 February 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first monarch in British History to mark 70 years on the throne and thereby celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. The big party may not happen until 2 – 5 June 2022, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate all year.  Her Majesty once said “Although the contribution which any one person can make is small, it is real and important.” and with that in mind, I have thought about the things that I am most passionate about and difference I would like to make and decided to set a challenge here at A Petite Princess.  That challenge?  To pay for up to 4 days of care at each children’s hospice that currently has a Royal Patron.  Royal Patrons of Children’s Hospice include: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, Her Royal Highness, the Countess of Wessex and Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York.

We have set up a shop on A Petite Princess where you can purchase limited edition t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tote bags, whose proceeds will be split evenly among the facilities that each organization has (10 facilities total…so for every £10 in profits each facility will receive £1).  If you would prefer to donate to a chosen organization directly, you may also do that via the links in the logos below or via their logos on the shop page.  Current fundraising targets on the donation pages represent the amount needed to provided services for 24 hours at each organization.  These targets are accurate as of 25 January 2022.

Choose a Charity, Choose a Royal, Choose a product, any way you make the decision, kids with life-limiting conditions will be the ones to benefit.

Who I’ve Partnered With
In a nod to the future of the monarchy and the passion that both The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Cambridge have for the environment we have partnered with Music City Creative to print our T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, and Hoodies. Music City Creative (www.musiccitycreative.co) is a Nashville-based hand-screen printing shop and retail store specializing in eco-friendly custom merchandise for events, brands, and special projects. Music City Creative partners with national and local brands to support the advancement of social equity and mobility through its designs, diverse hiring practices, and partnerships with nonprofit groups.

Music City Creative makes sure that their tees, hoodies, sweaters, and long-sleeves are sourced from factories with the highest sustainability standards. They take the time to source fabrics made from USA Cotton, dyed with ecologically safe chemicals, and manufactured in an eco-friendly facility.

Music City Creative uses water-based ink in any design they print. Water-based ink stays wet on the screen longer, so we can print more shirts using less. Afterward, it rinses safely down the drain – no chemicals required.

The water-based ink leaves a softer touch print than traditional plastisol inks. After washing one of our products, the texture from the ink virtually disappears. You’re left with a soft garment and design that feels like the shirt it’s printed on. You won’t find rough patches or cracking.
